My wife Melissa and I had a wonderful experience working with Peak One. As a former cost estimator in residential building, I felt well attuned to discerning quality people and workmanship when evaluating general contractors for our home in Scottsdale. We had known Mike for years but not had any building needs ’til 2011. After receiving multiple bids we knew Peak One would be the best fit for us. The whole experience was turnkey.
Mike listened to our concerns, suggest ideas and asked questions the other contractors never did. He had plans drawn, saving us the time and expense of dealing with a third party designer or architect. He arranged the building permit and managed every detail. The bid was itemized, professional and transparent. Melissa I work and have children, so we really appreciated the way Mike’s entire team made sure this project didn’t add unnecessarily to our stress!
I recommended mike to my parents who after meeting with him called me to to say they had cancelled their other bid appointments because, “Mike is the kind of person we want to do business with.” He is organized, respectful, punctual, sincere, knowledgeable, humble, detail oriented and a master at his craft. This is an extremely unusual combination of qualities to find in anyone, especially in the home building industry. Everyone who I’ve met that knows Mike feels the same way. I’m sure that’s also why he’s risen to his position as Company Commander in the National Guard with over 100 people in his charge.
My wife and I have lived in Scottsdale most of our lives and accumulated an extensive network of trusted Arizona service providers. Peak One Builders definitely earns our highest recommendation!
